The following information provides a simple overview of what happens with your personal data when you visit our website or submit one of the forms on the site.
Processing is carried out within the framework of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The legal basis for processing is that we have a legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). This means, in particular, that we need your data in order to provide the services you request (optimization of the website, consistent presentation, offers). Definitions of the terms used (e.g., “personal data” or “processing”) can be found in Article 4 of the GDPR.

There are only a few data that are collected without any action on your part, which are nevertheless necessary for the correct functioning of the website (cookies) or are used for statistical purposes. When data are evaluated statistically, they are altered by us so that you cannot (or can no longer) be identified.
Another set of data is stored on the web server for technical reasons in order to possibly correct errors or clarify misuse. Normally, these data are deleted after three weeks.

Your Rights

You have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

  • Right of access
  • Right to rectification or erasure
  • Right to object to processing
  • Right to data portability

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority concerning the processing of your personal data by us. To exercise these rights, you can simply send an informal e-mail to us (see “Responsible Party” below): info@rebhof.com

If you continue reading, you will find detailed information on each type of data, how it is forwarded, and where it goes. We also inform you how long the data are stored and how you can have them deleted or amended.

Responsible Party

The controller for data processing on this website is:
Gregor Pircher
Haslachstraße 26
39019 Dorf Tirol (South Tyrol, Italy)
E-Mail: info@rebhof.com

If you wish to object to the collection, processing, or storage of your personal data by us in accordance with applicable data protection law, you can direct your objection via e-mail to the address above. Because of your objection, further use of the website may no longer be possible for technical reasons.

Complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The supervisory authority responsible for data protection is:

Garante per la protezione dei dati personali
Piazza di Monte Citorio 12
00186 Rome, Italy

How We Collect Data

Automatically Collected Data

Certain data are automatically collected when you visit the website by our IT systems. These are primarily technical data (e.g., browser, operating system, or time of page access). Collection of this data happens automatically as soon as you enter our website. These data are not stored on the web server.

Data from Forms

The personal data that you provide to us in connection with a vacation inquiry are used only to respond to your inquiry or contact you and for the associated technical administration. The data from forms on this website are forwarded directly to the following e-mail address: info@rebhof.com.
Data management on the web server is handled by the company sthot-systems, with which we have concluded a data processing agreement. The data are not passed on to third parties under this agreement and are protected as best as possible against unauthorized use and loss. For details about sthot-systems’ data protection, see: https://www.sthot.eu/datenschutz.html

Server Log Files

When you use the website for informational purposes only (i.e., without registering or otherwise providing information), we collect only the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. When you view our website, we collect the following data, which are technically necessary to display the website and ensure stability and security (legal basis: GDPR Article 6(1)(f)):

  • IP address
  • Date and time of the request
  • Content of the request (specific page)
  • Access status/HTTP status code
  • Amount of data transferred in each case
  • Website from which the request originated
  • Browser
  • Operating system and its interface
  • Language and version of the browser software

These data are managed by sthot-systems under the data processing agreement mentioned above and are not passed on to third parties.

Cookies

In addition to the server log files mentioned above, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are associated with the browser you are using and stored on your hard drive; they cannot execute programs or transmit viruses. They serve to make the Internet offering more user-friendly and effective.

Types of Cookies Used:

  1. Transient Cookies (see point 2)
    • Automatically deleted when you close the browser (e.g., session cookies that store a session ID to link different requests from your browser to the same session).
    • Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.
  2. Google Analytics
    • We use Google Analytics based on our legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) to optimize and analyze our online offering.
    • Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information, which is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
    • Google LLC complies with European data protection law and is certified under the Privacy Shield (see: https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).
    • We use IP anonymization, so within the EU/EEA (and other signatory states), the user’s IP address is shortened. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP initially sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there, removing any direct link to the user.
    • Under our data processing agreement with Google, the data collected are used to generate reports on website usage and activity and to provide other services related to website usage, on our behalf.

Preventing Cookie Storage:

  • You can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting your browser settings; however, you may not be able to use all features of our website.
  • You can also prevent the data collected by cookies (including your IP address) from being sent to and used by Google by installing a browser plugin available here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
  • Alternatively, click this link to set an “opt-out cookie”: Tracking prevention. Note that if you delete all cookies, you must click the link again on your next visit.

Further information on data usage by Google:

Google Maps

This site uses the Google Maps service via an API. Provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. To use Google Maps functions, your IP address must be stored and is usually transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. We have no control over this transmission. The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offering and easy location of the places we list. This constitutes a legitimate interest under GDPR Article 6(1)(f). More information on data handling by Google: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Google Web Fonts

This site uses “web fonts” provided by Google for uniform presentation of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser caches the required web fonts to correctly display texts and fonts. This is a legitimate interest under GDPR Article 6(1)(f). To do this, your browser must connect to Google servers, which makes Google aware that our website was accessed via your IP address. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer is used. More information:

User Rights (Extended)

As a user of this website, you have the right to:

  • Obtain free information about which personal data about you have been stored
  • Request correction of incorrect data
  • Request restriction of processing or deletion of your personal data
  • (Where applicable) Assert your right to data portability
  • Lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority if you believe your data have been processed unlawfully

Deletion of Data

To the extent that your request does not conflict with any statutory retention obligations (e.g., data retention laws), you have the right to request deletion of your data. Data held by us will be deleted once they are no longer needed for their original purpose and no legal retention obligations remain. If deletion cannot be carried out because the data are required for permissible legal purposes, processing will be restricted—in that case, the data will be blocked and not used for other purposes.

Right to Object

Users of this website can exercise their right to object at any time to the processing of their personal data. If you wish to request correction, blocking, deletion, or access to your personal data, or if you have questions regarding collection, processing, or use of your data, or wish to withdraw consents granted, please contact: info@rebhof.com
